I would say always be honest. I was honest with my first trucking job. Told them I got in trouble in college and got my life back together. Graduated, got a job, kept it, saved up, went BACK to school, got a 2nd degree and a much better job and did that up until I decided to drive trucks. They told me they don't normally hire people with a felony but I was so young when it happened and so many years had passed and I'd obviously gotten my life back on track she told me the owner of the company wants you to work here. I was offered a job 5 minutes later. My first trucking job. No experience with a blemish on my record.
Oh yea, SWIFT turned me down because of it and so did CRST.
Can you lie about length of driving experience?
