Can you put those flashing wideload lights on your truck?

    Can't disagree with that...but too many states wouldn't want to have to spend money to change the way they do things for that to ever happen. With so many variations, I doubt there is a majority of states following any similar lighting scheme, so the majority of states would necessarily have to take a budgetary hit implementing such a nationwide standard.

    The dummy 4 wheelers running in the rain put on thier blinkers immediately but can't get headlights on.

    Ok since nobody has done it yet I will. I hearby give you permission to to put amber lights on your truck and u can use them however you want. Good luckk and have fun.

    We do a lot of traveling on small curvy roads (roads not really made for trucks). Sometimes, even if I'm legal size, I will turn on my caution light on these roads, where I'm taking up part of the other lane. If I have a breakdown on the side of the interstate, I'll also turn on the caution light.

    The thing about TN is, you don't need a light at all hauling oversize, unless you are running at night.
