I have looked at craigslist and applied to a few yesterday and already have a interview to up. that job they havre a driver and a sales position open, and considering my background i could do either. I have a degree in civil engineering, and currently work for a truss manufacturer, basically running to place. I have thought about buying the company I work for, but I was just away for annual training, and he is making a lot of changes, including reducing hours. So it's time for me to work closer to home. I am trying to advoid the food services jobs has I hear around hear me of them maintain their equipment.

yeah, me, myself, i'd never do food service. it pays good, but you also earn that money. the heck with that. there are LTL company's on the cape, oor very nearby.

    good luck with your quest.

Food service is excellent though for someone that need to get their finances in order and needs money fast. The pay is really good and a new driver can do that for a year and probably be debt free by then. Now, can move to a company that may be more desirable for the long term.

thing is, here in N.E. eateries are in narrow streets, alleys, etc. one food company in particular was AGAR, they are now under a new name (Reinhart) , if you so much as scratched a bumper, they fired you.

I always carried some white & gray duct tape and flat white & flat black spray paint to cover up boo-boo's and never snitched on myself.

I'm not ruling out the d services on, they are just not my top choice, even though I know the money is good. I know someone who worked for Rinehart and Said that the trailers always had issues. And they will somtimes pull shady crap

Don’t listen to the other responses. I’m from CT with yrs of experience. Go to J Line out of RI.
.50 CPM per mile, nice trucks. Out and back. Good luck!

How much experience does J Line require?

Everyone is desperate. Don’t worry, make sure it looks like you have 1 yr.
