You are absolutely right cat sdp it threw a fit and was derated but due to poor diagnosis I got nailed with a fuel pump a set of filters and a $875 bill . I'm thinking tech didn't fully understand how the fuel system works and he started by changing out the transfer pump and then the filters but I think my issue was only clogged filters that were causing trouble
Your probably going to need an art head and spark plug soon...... Once you do a bunch of half baked regens the art head is doomed..... And change the screen filter in the art head fuel supply line too
Does any one know the oil psi on these trucks? SDP C15 a acert Mine has been over hauled by cat, new head, oil pump etc! When it's cold it's at 65 psi max until it warms up and then, I have 35psi at idle and 53psi going down the hwy. What worries me it drops to 47psi while pulling steep grades.
