Talked to them yesterday during app review and was told they have ~ 150 people on their wait list for CDL sponsorship program. My guess is a lot of those folks will choose to go a different direction in the interim. I doubt there will be a lot of folks sitting on their hands waiting the 3-6 months for a call to get into a training program lasting another couple of months beyond that when there are so many companies out here in need of drivers.

I was approved 1-8-18, told it'll most likely be March.

I was approved in November, still waiting.

Talked to a recruiter the other day and he indicated they are now using a second CDL school located there in Little Rock. Can't remember the name, but he said they've recruited drivers from the school in the past.

You may ask to be put on the waiting list. They will call you if someone cancels. Good luck!

For good current information on the cdl school watch Neil Shane Otts on YouTube. He went through the whole process with updates every day. He's now in his truck working at Maverick.

I was approved on 4/19/2018, was told 4-8 weeks and it’s currently been 6 lol really hoping it doesn’t go past 8 weeks because I’m ready to learn and start getting some experience. I’ll just have to find another company if Maverick takes too long.

How long do you have to contract with Maverick to pay off that class?
