1bad is on his way back to Conley. Was going through TN last night and hit a deer messed his truck up to the point they have no where to put the headlight. So he has to drop it at the body shop in Conley. No telling how long he will be home we all know how the idiots in Conley are. 1bad really being a body man my trade (20 years) I wish they would just pay him to fix it. Then it would be done right and timely. OH well we know that's not gonna happen.

At least he is ok. My wife hit a deer in my car two weeks ago, 1bad would laugh at the car till it left him in it's dust, 1972 Mustang mach 1 with a 429 super cobra-jet slightly under 600 horse.

Now my baby is hurt and the insurance is dicking us around to get it repaired

In Sawyer, MI at the moment. Showed up 2 hrs early at Lowe's this morning and they wouldn't take me. Appt at 0645. Come back at 0630, different crew and the nice lady says "we have an mty here, would you like to do a drop and hook?" Well of course not!!! :biggrin_25522:
So now I have my next orders and its to do a swap going to NJ. Yikes. Go about 5 miles and find a micky dee's so pull in for fuel, for me. Come back at and swap had been canceled and am now going to Paw Paw, MI. Love that name. Am now heading to Loveland, CO. Looks like I'll have to do a reset there. Wonder if there are any ski resorts you can get a semi to? hehehehehe
Sorry to hear about 1Bads truck. I'm sure he needed a break anyway......NOT!!!! Do they have a loaner he can use while their fixing it?

2 words MUSTANGS SUCK i was a bodyman at a ford dealership for 20yrs before i started driving i worked on ford products every day i know them inside and out i know how they are put toghether and what kind of steel is used i have also worked on my fare share of gm products and i can say with out a shadow of a doubt that gm is a much more superior built auto thats why after all the years working on fords is the reason i would not own one. and for you foreign car lovers if you knew what you were really looking at safety wise youd ditch that jap iunk made from 100% recycled beer cans. they are death traps yes they may run forever im not doubting that but ill take safety over dependability any day

may i suggest fresh deer meat it can be found on I75 MM127 in tenn killed it my self last night.

I'll look to see if it's still there on friday when I pass thru. Although I have seen plenty of other fresh ones in the last few days. I've heard that it's much less destructive to just go out and shoot them.

Will probably be at Conley on saturday afternoon, but only because I have a fuel stop there. The only terminal I look forward to going to is Fontana because that means there is a chance I can make it home. Going to WVC and the inspection bays is like playing russian roulette. The Henderson Convention Center and Conley are only if they make me go or I absolutely have to get something.

Well... my wished for 34 won't happen, but at least I regained enough hours to have productive days so I don't get a concussion bouncing off my 70 for a few more days, and I can get south of the Mason/Dixon line for a bit.

Ah but I also use to have a 1970 Tornino that was built like a tank. It got twice in the same day, first accident a guy in a corvette tried to make a right hand turn from the far left turn lane, second my aunt wheeled a buick riviera into the driveway and hit it in back. Her front end was messed up, total damage from TWO accidents, one dented fender, and a bent rear bumper.

Anyway, we like what we like, although I did have a 1991 cavalier Z-24 and that thing was almost a rocket, last year you could get the 3.0 turbo six in it. Wish I still had it.

Well I am sitting at the TA in London, Oh tonight, I have a pu in Englewood, oh (less than a mile from my house) in the morning, but I am without an empty, no empties at Kraft or in Orient where I dropped my load this morning. Only productive thing I did today was my picked me up and we went christmas shopping.

If I can secure and empty I am heading to madison, WI then to Humble, TX I will go early in the morning and do the great trailer hunt again.
