Hate to bring this back up, but anyone know if I can off duty drive in between loads? I have a load delivering at the same place I'm picking up. I need to go and make a payment, but the place doesn't have room for a trailer. Was gonna drop my trailer and go pay this bill and go back and pick my loaded one up. I would just BT on duty, but my hours are gonna be close to my 70.

I think the rule is no line 5 when assigned to a load or hooked to a trailer.

Should be OK as long as you don't make your next load active until you get back. A call to regulatory will answer your question for certain.

That's what I was thinking. Deliver the load and not make my next one active until I get back to the shipper. Thx
