Yea there's definitely a ton of "grey" area when it comes to PC. I use it from time to time, I just try to not use it to commute a couple hundred miles. Maybe I'm just too careful, who knows. Lots of people view it differently.
There is no mileage limit specified. I B/T over 500 miles once and nothing was said. Imagine the truck as a R/V. because that is what it basically becomes.
I agree.. If somebody allows themselves to get bent over by Schneider that's on them. If you whip out "Hey the contract says so and so.. on page # section #" What is Schneider gonna say at that point? The contract you signed doesn't count.. do as we say? Ain't happening, if it does happen that could get THEM in trouble.
Seems to me if you run out of Charlotte they have a tight leash on everyone.. Glad I run out of GB lol
I was as well. Never used it until recently when a couple short high paying loads came up that fit in nicely with what was already booked. Its a good option to have for me because of the way I normally run. I do not, however, book loads ahead of where I'm already booked to and then try to find something to get me there. A couple of guys have told me that's what they're doing. While it may seem like a good idea, it's really asking to get burned when it doesn't work out.
