How do you get moved to another fleet? This last round of changes has been horrible for me.
I have a fleet in mind that was recommended to me but not sure how to go about getting moved.

    Thanks for any input

My company we have to go thru their supervisor and it has to be a reason written in blood for them to change fleet manager. Your statement was so vague its hard to give a absolute answer. Are u just tryin to get on different account. But then in to question it sound like u want to change companies. So its kinda confusing

Just wait a little longer. They usually swap around managers right after christmas, eliminating a few bad ones and reassigning drivers to other ones. If it doesn't happen then, I would contact the ops manager over your fleet and make the request. They will listen to your request, but, it is somewhat dependent on where you live, if you train or run team, and how often you want to be home.

I'm otr stay out 4 to 6 weeks at a time. Solo don't train or team. My old fleet manager took a different position dealing with customers doesn't dispatch anymore.

my milage has dropped dramatically since change, I've been shorted detention and breakdown since change. Basically I'm pissed as hell ready to give notice.

Hey food for thought don't give notice until u are ready to board greyhound to yo next job out of spite they will not give u loads to starve u out until u leave and then if u leave on bad terms if they have to much time on a notice they will screw up y. dac report good luck

Oh yea, I know how dirty companies can be. I always cover all bases, don't make rash decisions. Thanks for your input.

It doesn't really matter where you live, if you train or run team. I just got moved to fleet 20, a trainer fleet and I'm a solo driver. But, what I have learned is that they tend to place the more experienced drivers in fleets that have less experienced DM's and the less experienced drivers in fleets that have more experienced DM.

I was in fleet 5, now 3. Was getting good runs decent miles. Now I'm getting short runs. Lot of NE, jersey etc. I've been moved 4 times. Just gets really old. Just when the FM and I are really seeing eye to eye and things are going great, boom changed again lol

I can't figure out why they always want to move drivers around. If me and my dm get along and work well together and I'm running my miles and not late why mess with us?

I understand if the dm moves to another position, quits or is fired but other than that why mess with somethibg that works?

Of course with west Memphis getting dm's on site they are trying their hardest to move me under one of them. Neither me or my dm want me to swap fleets
