Awoke this morning and drove the 30 mins to get my mt. Of course the customer wouldn't release any, so I waited 30 mins and got sent an additional 30 miles to finally find an mt. Arrived here at the shipper at 7:30 and they confirmed it is a six hour live load. They are hand loading over 900 tires. Good thing the load rate more than makes up for the wait, and I get a whopping $50 extra bucks if they go one minute over six hours. Big money!

Good times .... Now to find something to do for six hours.

Wow, they suck. Glad the money is good. My first job was at a tire center. We were also the distribution warehouse for 4 other locations. Our boss would have had our ### if we had taken 6 hours to load a trailer. Times how they change. Keep the rubber on the pavement.

My six hour live load only took four. Out of there at 11:30, then drove four hours in wicked wind. 2000 miles to go!

Easy 550 mile day today. Stopped at a Walmart during my 30 min break and stocked up on stuff. Sitting in Moriarty NM at a pretty new looking Pilot.
Booked a load heading out of Greenville SC up to Bridgwater VA. Then another from there up to Amsterdam NY. Keeps me running through the 6th. Have to be in NY on the 9th for my reset, more move stuff to do. So maybe a run over to MA or ME and back. We'll see what pops up....

Another easy 500 mile day driving on I-40 across New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. During my 30 min break got the mudflap that was slowly detaching from the trailer repaired at a Goodyear. That was the extent of my excitement!
    Begin relaxation.......
