Company wants to change my off duty time to sleeper berth so I can drive after 8

I appreciate all the responses. I didn't know my employer wanted me to do an 8/2 split or I'd have taken a sleeping pill and gone right to bed. On a 10 I do my usual.. eat exercise shower and watch tv.. takes 3-4 hours of my 10 then I'm spent and ready to crash.. in this case I had been asleep for about 3.5 hours when the.phone started ringing.. fornit to be an 8 hr sleeper berth you're supposed to be in the sleeper resting for 8 hours.. not in the shower or watching TV in the driver's lounge.. letting them.change my log so I could run would have been falsification.. I'm not doing it.. I wasn't safe to run and cause a whole bunch of flak from.dispatch for sticking to my guns. Its the micromanagement BS.. from now on I'm turning my phone to silent.. ill run when I'm legal and safe to do so..bthe thing that scares me is so many noobies just don't know and will go my dispatch wouldn't tell me to do something illegal.. and run.. then when they kill someone dispatch is gonna leave them out to hang. I'm not the guy.. I've been around long enough to know better. I'm in the process of looking for a new job.. I'm not a machine that you just press the start button over and over till I go.
