The T/A was at it's best back when they all had a Country kitchen restaurant and you could get a chicken fried steak dinner anywhere in the country for $5.

Some Country Prides were better than others. The worst one, ironically, was at their flagship location in Lodi, Ohio. Never again at that one! Eggs tasted off and bacon was burnt.olddog_newtricks Thanks this.

It actually hasn't been too bad in the last couple years. They remodeled the shower rooms and restrooms, and even the restaurant turns out mostly good food. But the parking lot is still full of potholes.

They make a fortune from parking. Not a bad little bar across the street.

I was there two weeks ago. It's a #### hole. Just to scale. The upstairs bathroom was ok.

There was a 76 in Romulus Michigan, nice place door, good food cold beer, lots of locals. Dispatch would call the truck stop, they would come out and wake the drivers up when the load was ready. Auto parts out of Romulus. It was not unusual for Drivers to be M I A

Was that the one that was close to the airport off of Ecorse Road and Merriman? I'm too young
to remember that one, but my uncle remembers it was very small. I believe it's a Marathon fuel
