Cost of retrofit for Cal?

    $10-$15K yeah. But that's not the only cost -- you'll have more downtime, longer downtime, & the added risk of your truck burning down.

    I was in a shop in Santa Rosa, CA for some front brakes. The shop there had put a dpf on a county owned dump truck. The first time they started the truck it needed a regen. Hahaha hahaha.

    My friends shop puts DPF filters on. For that engine it's about $9000 for the filter, plus install fee. But if you don't run California, or only plan on coming in a few times a year, I wouldn't do it.

    Maybe You should do it and make governor brown proud that you're going green. Another thing the governor did was outlaw the sale of the Rebel flag in any state owned facility. Someone got offended by it.
