Hello! I own a small ranch that currently can not get semi loads of hay, which is costing us about double the price. We have the place to create an area where a semi could back into, be unloaded and then pull out (perpendicular to the road). My question is, what size does this need to be for a driver to be able to do this? I can make the front of it pretty wide.

Maybe get a few pictures from Google or drone so it would make sense what we're working with here

I like to to not jack my tires around any more than I have to, so how about just a pad large enough to swing wide and back into, then pull right out?

Rough numbers, a semi has a turning radius of 70’.

Maybe just wide enough pad right by the road so semi can be unloaded off of the main road and doesn't have to tear up his tires trying to turn around

I think 40wide by 100 or.so long should be sufficient for any truck
