That's what I like. If you know you are doing right, then stand up for yourself. If not they will walk all over you all day long. A loud threat means nothing, but a quiet promise speaks volumes.

Anyone know anything about the yard at Macungie, Pa just up the road from Breinigsville? Gated or not? Restrooms? Microwave?

Last I was there, there was no gate. It's a shared space, I don't think the facility's are open for us, drop lot only I think but it's been a while.

It is shared with another company, they have a shop and office there. No gates, no Crete staff anymore. If someone is there from the other company, they have always been friendly and accommodating to me. I am not sure if there is a bathroom available if they are not there, but if they are, they will let you use it.

I thought we discontinued using that place...but I don't know....

Found the leak in my drivers seat air bag....it's at the top of the bag where the collar is, so it's not fixable. Headed to the Indy yard after I deliver this morning to get it fixed.....

The trailer they use for an office has a bathroom and microwave. They just rent the space from another guy. He has a garage that I believe has a shower in it. Cannot remember and if there is a shower it will not be the cleanest. That was 5 years ago so it might have changed. There was a WAWA truck stop on rt 100 about 2 miles away but last I saw it was being renovated so not open to public.

The nearest truckstop to there would be on tilghman street. Take rt100 north to first light. make a right the follow it for about 2 miles. Truckstop on the left.

Wawa is still closed. Was gonna stage there last night for my delivery appt this morning. Since the Wawa was closed, I headed on over to the Consignee to see if it was really a live offload and guess what? A Drop. So after dropping I temporarily staged at that Wakefern Grocery lot until I got the Macungie info and headed over here to reset. Figured Trexler Plaza would be full that late on a Sunday night with Staged Truckers. Things have been better so far This trip than they were the 1st trip. Actually was allowed to knock down 3850 paid miles from Monday morning through Sunday night. Had 27 minutes left on 70.

Since I can't rant on Crete this week I'll rant on a Shipper that caused me pain and discomfort this week. Some genius put EIGHTEEN darn nails into a 4th board. 3 or 4 in all the others. They mostly pried up or split into a couple pieces but not the one with EIGHTEEN nails. It was in a gazillion pieces by the time I was done fighting with it. Palm is sore from impact repeatedly ramming the wood with the 3 ft crow bar and thumb muscle and forearm are strained from the ramming and prying. The frigging floor is HARDWOOD! No need to put more than a few nails per board.
