Whenever I'm within range, I tune to WCBS 880 out of NYC....traffic and weather on the 8s. If the GWB and the Cross Bronx don't sound bad, I'll go for it. Otherwise I'll go around. But the CB has gotten so bad pavement-wise that I make sure I have extra glue for my hair....and I don't even wear a piece!

Had to deliver to Daybreak Express in Newark, NJ today. I'd rather get a hotsauce enema than come back here again. If I didn't live in CNY, I'd tell them I refuse to come to Jersey again, but I don't think that would go well living in Central New York...

Whats worse than a live offload 236 mile load with TO MUCH TIME ON IT ? SPENDING 5 HRS GETTING THE SOB DOWNLOADED. They had the nerve to send another short preplan delivering the next day....I said NO, If there is not anything avl with miles I will check back tomorrow and that's what I did :) Ended up with a productive preplan the next morning....along with 8 messages from everybody and their brother.

    48Packard Thanks this.

Do we still do the trailer T-1 on the road or do they have to be done at our terminals now too? I got the amber light out on the right side of the trailer and it is riveted onto the skirt. I'm up here on I 96 in Michigan and no TA or Petro.

Picking up a water load near Chattanooga and headed to Dollar General in Jonesville, SC. Won't have time to make it home tonight but will be there in the morning. Gotta hand it to overnight shift....I was being unloaded in TN and I sent in a request for next load macro with desired state and indicating a need to be home tomorrow. There it was.

Other days, they can't get outta their own way.....smh.....

Drive thru the oil land of the Dakotas, not what I expected. I thought they'd be truck parking everywhere and bars everywhere selling $ 6 beer. Nope...
i spent the night at Williston Walmart, next door, they had 20 oz Dos Escies for 6.75 and instead of wing, they had drumsticks. Which were good.
Run a Walmart trailer 640 miles up and bringing it back with a few pallets in it. Since a highway is closed on the paid route, the detour is an extra 60 miles, each way. Oh well.
