That sucks, was it your fault?
I was in and out of Maine Sunday,
I-84 was a nightmare until the I-91 exit. EVERYONE WENT SOUTH!!! And I was all alone going west.

This is the longest I stayed out for a long time, I'll take a week or so off starting Sept 10th. (Using my vacation, as I got told about a 5 day limit)
I left home on July 27th and turned in this many miles a week (sometimes I forget to Transflo on time)
    1321
    2262
    3093
    2699
    3430
Not a 3,000 mile week average. But I can live with it.

I ran the Indiana I65 bridge detour today. Kind of long but went ok. Don't think I'd care to go that way early morning or late afternoon. I heard an oversize driver tell his escort he'd knocked down a mailbox. The escort guy told him not to worry about it, "that'll teach 'em not to put 'em so close to the road". I'm thinking snowplow guys must drive pilot cars in their off season.

Dang, you got loaded and to Indiana quick.
The detour sucks when they route us to the back side of Lafayette. I took it on a Sunday morning, barely any traffic.

What's so great about that Pilot? The Dunkin' Donuts across the street? If I'm in that area, my truck practically drives itself to Truck World. And there, the Dunkin' Donuts is in the parking lot, not across the street... but what IS across the street is a Waffle House!

    tucker Thanks this.

I've never been to Truck World.
I may try to walk over to Dunkin Donuts in the morning. I love the French Crouillers.
I delivered this afternoon near Cleveland and pick up in the morning by Akron. And it goes 520 miles to Connecticut for Friday morning.
    plenty of time to relax

There is a bar next door to this Pilot too, plus I really hate truck drivers, and tonight I had to talk to one, ugghhhh, he knew everything .....

The restaurant at Truck World has good food. I've never once gone in there, even real late, and been unable to find a parking spot. It's also got a kick ### tool shop. And a R/C hobby shop. It's like a mini Iowa 80, except better.
