Yesterday I was east bound on IL I70 when a west bound truck veered into the median, crossed over and passed by me still going west in the east bound hammer lane. Fortunately we where in a construction zone and nobody was in the left lane. No idea what caused it, and while it set off some chatter on the radio I don't think anyone actually stopped. All in a day's work?

Dropped at the Walmart in Raymond NH. Friendly helpful guard checked me in. On the back of the facility map was a list of available parking options. The guard recommended the park and ride lot mentioned in the driver directions and that's where I ended up. Fortunately I'm still spry enough to make it across the highway, had dinner at the Market Basket Cafe thing.

It has been years since I was last there...summer of 2010 I got suckered into Pop-Up fleet over July 4th weekend due to supposedly no freight, turned into an 8 day Gig. NEVER AGAIN

I did the pop-up thing last year in Texas. Walmart provided Thanksgiving dinner for drivers, so I made out a little better then usual.
I haven't been up here for a while. The Sturbridge Pilot isn't making you do the "one tank at a time" dance anymore.

Heck of a win for Kyle! Missed 11 races and wins the championship!

It was a great season, I want to hate the new Chase format, but it had me hooked, Logano's my driver and this summer I was rooting for Kyle.
I got parked with 2 minutes left on my 70, (after editing back in the fuel stops) and with the rain delay the race was just starting. And I could pick it up on my TV, sure beat walking 3/4 a mile in the cold to The Tilted Kilt.

Bleh. Hit the TA in Greenland (you can get off at exit 11 and take 108 to 33 to get to it and bypass the toll) and take a cab to downtown Portsmouth next time. Lots of cool eating and entertainment options there.

Waiting to unload window glass in Cuyahoga Falls. Not the worlds most motivated receiver, and proud of it.

After a 5 1/2 hour unload at Alside the guy came out with my bills. I asked him if he'd care to sign my detention form and he laughed "there ain't no detention here". Go figure.
Got a pp for a cabinet load in Middlefield OH. Hotfooted it over (well for a Crete truck) knowing I would be late for my pickup. When I got there I found load was not supposed to be ready until tomorrow. Nice lady let me drop my trailer and directed me to the Walmart. I'm parked next to the Amish buggy parking area. They even have a shed for the horses.

Orientation was good, alot of info thrown at you in a short time. Now i see why you have to go thru orientation again when you test out.
I stayed at home, drove up an hour each day for it. The hotel looked to be not so nice.
Training has been going good. Im on home time now, did 5 weeks out so far. We are running Super Solo hours now and building up my hours. Should test out around the 16th of Dec.
