Ugh I hate this 60 mph state of Michigan.
I had a fast truck tailgating me for a long time, and a little red car squeezed in to exit, which caused him to back off.
And it was a good thing because as I went under the overpass, the On Guard hit the brakes real hard, real hard!
First time this truck did this for no reason. I don't know if I got hit with radar or the so called bridge shadow effect phenomena.

Everyplace has little breweries now, and some of it is good.
I was the last person to try "craft" beer.
I remember years ago, drinking my Buweiser out of a bottle at the Jubitz and another driver told me I looked like a god #### fool drinking that horse piss.
But I thought it was good and tasted the same everywhere and that was good.
Yep, I was wrong, I rarely drink a Bud anymore if the place has draft.

Yep. Normally you hate coming up on the 60-61.5mph trucks but in Michigan (and Washington) they're ALL going in that speed range.

    tucker Thanks this.

I love not having a new HUT sticker. I had to turn down a load to Connecticut this morning.
I even had to refuse to drive the extra 58 unpaid miles so I could get one at New Kingstown

    freightwipper Thanks this.

I left home on January 21st and this will be the 8th night I spent in Younstown.
But the drivers that live here are running where I live.
I'm trying the impossible, trying to get a load I can swing by home with. I know it's forbidden, but I hate to take 3 days off when I just need the mail and to check a trench and electric meter they put in.

Speaking of that very thing, I'm on a load from Colville, WA to Kutztown, PA. Most reasonably direct route is out 90-212-90 to 35 to 218 to 380 and across 80. Of course, that'll let me swing by the house to get my taxes and such.

No, they have me routed across 94, with a #### ton of 50 gallon fuel stops (2 PAGES of fuel solutions) so it's obviously costing them more in fuel. Also the IL 90 and 294 tolls. And all said and done, it's 10 miles longer.

The only logical reason for this seems to be to keep me out of the house.

I'm going by the house anyway.

On second thought no. Washington has too many BS laws. Montana though...
