I just read I 70 might be open tommorow, it is odd they paid you the extra mileage when they wouldn't pay extra for when the gorge in the Carolinas was closed.
    Anyways, good for you

I hope I never have to go out west. I would just as soon stay in the Midwest/southeast. I get my best miles there. I spent January pretty much in the Midwest and did 12000 miles. That was without any home days(my choice), but also spent 3 days in shops, so I was still happy with that.

I heard the same about at least one lane reopening tomorrow. I thought about taking a 34 in Denver and just running I70 tomorrow but the load is due in SoCal on Friday afternoon and I'd REALLY have to run hard and not have ANY other delays to get it delivered on time if I did that. Too late for them to change their minds now though... I'm already past Albuquerque on 40. Off to the casino now...

Whatever floats your boat. If I never saw anything east of US 87 again, I doubt I'd ever miss it.

Well, I take that back - I might miss the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and the Maine coast.

I ended up with a load from Omaha ish to Cheyenne.
Watching the Can Am duels, I so hate little Earnhardt.
