It's probably my fault. I've been logging pretty much the same as paper, 30 minutes for drop and hooks or arrival and departure, 15 for pretrip. If I happened to not be watching the clock I would go back and edit. So how many are doing 5 minute pretrips or 10 minute drop and hooks?

I had to edit my logs this morning. I forgot to log on duty for my pretrip while I walked in and got my coffee,I sure wasn't going to sit and wait 15 minutes, so I edited it.

3498 hub miles since I left home.
Yesterday while I was delivering they sent this preplan that I could grab a reset on, on the way to the shipper, I like the long loads

So naturally my next load was a shuttle, :(
Take an empty from Harrisonville to the KC yard, bobtail back to Harrisonville and grab a load going to Grandview, 21 miles away. wtf?
Plus it was 102 paid miles, just enough to screw me on the shag pay.
And the preloaded trailer had a flat. I should have told the guard shack to expect a tire man, as they told him I left, so he left.
So 4 hours later the tire was replaced.
But Charlie Daniels is playing at the Ameristar tonight, he's 80 years old.
    And I got a ticket :)

    I hate short loads

I'm at the T/A in Wheatridge, CO just outside Denver. We're supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow shortly. It's April 28. WTF. Will Spring never come? denverweather.png
