Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I’ve been to that truck plaza it’s ok nothing special I’m starting to get really tired of the OTR life tbh I’d be a lot happier if I had 1,000 mile trips most of the time I’m considering a long break from driving all together

 

Dropped in Lexington heading to Pittsburgh area have to sit till Monday probably so I’m definitely heading to down town and seeing baseball excited but I can’t wait to get back to Indiana for time away from driving might try to take off 5-7 days and not do anything might go trout and walleye fishing in Michigan when I get home next

 

This last 6-10 weeks I’ve seen pretty much the eastern half of the country I’m hoping to get out to the west coast soon

 

Actually it doesn’t. I’m going the Southern route on the 40.

 

The truck plaza isn’t special. That’s not the point. You’re walking distance to the monorail which means you can have Joe’s Stone Crab at Caesar’s and then catch one of a hundred shows. Parking is free, and no one runs you off. In lieu of hometime, I took a four day reset there once. Never was hassled to buy a parking permit once.

If you’re not getting outside to see the view once in a while it’s just a jail cell on wheels.

My dispatcher wanted to know why I didn’t cover more ground the other day delivering this load. He asked what was wrong.
