Wow. It's amazing this thread is still active. I was active on the original thread over 10 years ago, bought a truck there in 2010, paid it off early, left in 2012 for Landstar, traded in that truck on a Prostar (never do that, BTW), went broke with the Prostar, and ended my driving career at that point. Now I drive a desk, take care of a dropyard, coordinate maintenance on the trucks at my location (day cabs for the most part), and supervise drivers. It's been one heck of a ride. Y'all be safe out there!

 

Wonder if recruiters bonus...is $2000 like drivers get for a referral...or more

 

I have been doing a lot of sitting lately,and I don’t like it.Not one #### bit.

 

Same here! In the handbook it says we don’t get paid to sit iF freight is slow. Bs!!!

 

I’ll deliver early,and they give me a load that picks up 8 hours later,then give me 2 days Togo 600 miles.
I think they are trying to get out of paying the bonus.This is to he first quarter that I’m way off.

 

Same here!!! I have always hit the bonus BUT not this quarter.
The only thing we can do is make the best of our free time on the road.

 

As you can see..van isn't slow .the load to trk ratio is darn good right now .

Going back out in ther morning. Been home a week. Hopefully freight volume is picking up. I'm ready to run.
