Got unloaded early and picked up a load from A. Busch across the street. A real nice 79,820 lb load that can only be scaled with 200 or so over on the drives (we have a 400 lb exemption for the APU's in most states so should be fine). Heading to Aiken, SC so should be good weather. Pretty tiring driving up and down the hills through the back roads of NY and PA although quite pretty with a lot of snow covered hills.

Stopped off at New Kingstown so I could reload on some supplies and had to wait 2.5 gawd #### hours for some inconsiderate ####### (Bobby Owens) to bring the company car back.

Got the old Bud Light off the trailer this morning and got a load picking up in Hendersonville, NC at the KC plant. Folks pretty slow there. #### woman in the shipping office just sat there listening to another guy telling stories for a good ten minutes while I waited at the window, thanks ma'am. Dropping the load off in Dalton, GA in the morning and probably getting something headed back toward the house.

Sure can't complain about my January. Just talked to a friend of mine still at Roehl who got caught in the storms in Wyoming and Oregon and had a pretty rough go of it. Hoping February is as good.

Well was hoping for a little better finish to my time out this month but kind of stymied out here in Georgia. Got offered a Social Circle load that didn't pick up until after 2000 tonight going to Fayetteville, NC and I requested something with an earlier p/u time and succeeded in getting an even later p/u to after midnight at Covidien SW of Atlanta. I decided to cut my losses and take that one so I could wait out the time at the terminal in Atlanta. First time at this terminal, seems alot of stuff going on here. All in all a decent place with good showers. Going to try and get up a little after midnight so I can get and go to beat the Atlanta traffic and get home by early afternoon. Week going to end a little subpar but overall a decent month considering I will be off for 7 days in it. Plan on coming back out the first of February.

    1/23-1/25 Baldwinsville, NY -- Aiken, SC --- 887 miles
    1/25-1/26 Aiken, SC -- Hendersonville, NC -- Dalton, GA --- 400 miles

Back to the old grind. Nice load coming out of the house. Picked up a little south of Greensboro and heading to Eau Claire, WI.

Did make a big batch of deer jerky while at the house that is pretty #### good. Nice traveling food.

Bah. Check into Indy to get some wiring fixed for a headlight that wouldn't work and a B service, 8.5 hours later I am good to go. Oh well at least I made it out of there before my hours were up. Got the appt time moved back so no problems I suppose.

Spent the afternoon watching some show about cops trapping car jackers. Some pretty stupid fools.

The Indy terminal is all jacked up with new construction going on but it should be pretty nice once it is finished.

Prolly watching "Bait Car" ? Call it entrapment lol... in the areas they nail people who sometimes are just that poor. Other times its a large moron who grabs a car and goes for a ride...
Hey 8.5 hrs sounds like a sweet deal compared to, well, you know... :)

Being poor is no excuse to steal. Stealing is stealing. It's just that simple.

    Yep that was the show.

Well made my drop at Menards in a timely manner and was hoping to get something rolling out of there which I did but unfortunately not ready until 2300 so looks like I will be picking up in the morning and rolling to Springfield, IL for a couple of drops. Not too shabby as it should keep us out of ###### weather for another day.

What is happening on your front Hindsy? Hope all is well.

    Week 29

2/1-2/3 Durham, NC --- Thomasville, NC --- Eau Claire, WI --- 1139 mi
2/4 Eau Claire, WI -- Springfield, IL --- 433 mile (+30.00 extra drop)
    2/4 Springfield, IL -- Centralia, IL -- Hannibal, MO --- 306 mi
    2/4 Hannibal, MO -- Meta, MO -- Waco, TX ---- 209/772

    2087 miles + 30.00 drop pay

Week turned out ok after a half of a day delay in Indy. Pretty sweet trek down MO133 today to pick up a load of pet food in Meta, MO. Hoping to get this load off in Waco tomorrow. These #### 223xxx trailers always seem to have multiple tires deflated. Supposed to be some bad valve stems, wish they would get that #### fixed. Keeps my air hose dusted off on a regular basis.
