Im talking about no mega companies get closed down by the DOT.They shut down small companies but the meggas no.Far as money issues yes but they do not fail due to safety issues.Name 1 carrier that the DOT has shut down.Thats what I mean by too big to fail..

I imagine sitting for days is a common thing with CRST.Don't know what the plan is behind their madness.

I wouldn't sit for 4 days...at that point that's the drivers ignorance...there's no way any company is going to have me sit for 4 days without major proper compensation..

But I thought CRST was/is?? Wait....wait....nope...I see a CRST Truck on Hwy14 in MN. Maybe their lost and not answering phone or qualcomm? Maybe I should flag em down and offer a brewski before telling them the bad (or is it good) news?Having...trouble...with...decision...making....process...lately.:biggrin_2556:

They'll remain open as long as they can pay all of the fines they get. DOT isn't going to shut down someone that's funding their gravy train.

if gray transportation out of waterloo IA manages to stay in business (grays trucks make CRST trucks look like Cadillac's) I don't think CRST is going anywhere for a while.

Too many students and new drivers willing to work for free.Thats about what is it working for CRST and many of the other starter companies.Make not even spending money and sit for days.Long as drivers are willing to do this,CRST will continue to make their teams sit for days and does not mean at all they are closing.

Need to ask a TA mechanic what's going on. They always have the scoop. :yes2557:
