I'll bet you are one of those guys that drive 55 in a 65 because you can't maintain your speed. Then you speed up to 80 when someone tries to pass. I know your type, guy.

Lol the guy pulled road trains in Australia. Could probably drive circles around you from either side of the cab.

That might be. But I'm not the one that passed judgement to begin with. I'm not here to see who has the bigger ding dong. So unless someone has some helpful information for the OP, maybe we should just drop it?

Keep your feet on the dash and rely on your cruise control. As I said just pray you never find out why cruise control is a bad idea in a truck.

    RIP damo.

You could have a point, but you are mentioning an issue that really isn't the problem. I have close to 20 years and over a million miles. The only front tire I lost was one that leaked air as bad as the deep state is leaking info about Trump- Russia. It didn't blow, it went flat.

The real concern is guys leaving it on coming into a work zone or congestion.

That being said, I religiously use it, but my feet are on the floor, ready for anything.

I've had two steer tire blowouts and I use cruise... it's a non-issue.

Besides, how else am I going to be able to get up and make a road-snack without it?
