If you aren't job hopping who cares. I would of just stayed parked and told him your goozin filter was clogged and your waiting for the the tow truck.

15 points, no worries. Next time, don't answer the knock.

I would go ahead and file a Data Q on this because a Failure to obey traffic control device .392.2c can be looked at as you ran a stop sign or light. the only reason he gave you a warning is because you can not get a court date to fight it, and it counts the same as a guilty verdict in court. don't be surprised if you get a fine in the mail from the public safety commission. We got a warning in Oh. and cost us $150. so fight every thing.
The officer gave you a ticket for something you did not do.Jar-Head Thanks this. -
I came back through took pictures of the rest area and nothing posted ... and trucks were in the rest area .
I'm gonna try to fight this cause I just feel they do it because they can . -
I will definitely say I'm broke down next time for sure .. I never thought of that in the heat of the moment but great point

He put parked in a rest area on the inspection is the crazy part

unfortunately you cannot fight a warning. Also as of right now even if you could fight it CSA points don't come off even if you win a case.

What rest area is this?
I would find out where his headquarters are and call his supervisor. If he done something wrong like harass you he will make him throw the report away.
We use to have a Maryland bear on here.
15 points ain't nothing. Next year it will be 10 and the year after 5. By the third year 0. -
Another situation that shows CSA has little to do with safety. Guy runs a stop light is the same as you. The whole system is ridiculous. I got "Fatigued Driving" CSA points a couple years ago for form and manner violations on my logs. Not over hours, nothing wrong really at all other than the trooper just had to write something I guess. Just got inspected last month up by Dumas, TX; guy wrote me for license plate light out. It was working but I had driven through some snow in CO the night before and it was obscured. Trooper said it didn't matter, the regs say not working or obscured. CSA equipment violation for me. I guess it's just the way things are now days.
rollin coal Thanks this.
