I have a 07 ISX. I notice a high squeal/whine when I pull out when loaded or when I am going down a hill, coasting then get back on the pedal. After the turbo spools back up, it stops. Any thoughts??
    Thanks

I just found this on another thread. Dude had same issue! What they found where 2 busted exhaust man bolts , cracked exhaust housing off the back of the turbo to the first flex pipe. Looks like I have some investigating to do.

Same squeal here on mine. Had tech look at it he said exhaust manifold bolt had broken, they have to drill it out and install a new gasket etc. Said he's extremely confident that will fix the squeal.

Yep, exhaust leak either at turbo mounting flange, or manifold to head, or egr valve. Just look for any broken or missing manifold bolts and lots of black soot build up.

    Get to checking. :)
