Yeah they did say that I would be good. I let them know everything when I signed up.

We have a Covenant recruiter coming this month and a couple others coming in February. I haven't had the chance to meet with any of them yet.

As far as cost, it's 10k. I have 4k in pell grants and 6k in student loans. So the cost to me is 6k, but the total cost is 10k.

Yeah, I'm shooting for all my endorsements, I've been studying and taking practice tests every day. I go on the 23rd of this month to take my permit tests. Passport card is just a passport? Or is it something else?

Also I live in California, halfway between Bakersfield and Fresno if you know where those places are.

Start submitting applications now; don't wait until graduation.
This will give you plenty of time. Make sure the application is perfectly correct with no mistakes or omissions.

    Youngs Transportation - Fresno,CA
    Western Express
    USA Truck
    Schneider
    Navajo Express
    KKW Trucking
    Watkins-Shepard
plus any more that interests you.
Submit lots of applications and you'll be OK. The more the better; this way you can sift through the job offers and pick the best offer.

Passport Card is all you need. This is for entry to Canada.

call the clerk of courts from where you got the ticket, and ask them if you can filed a motion to dismiss. I think that can help.

It doesn't matter if the ticket is for reckless, or the court calls it reckless, 15 over is considered reckless in this industry.

As for the rest of your situation. Yes, you can get hired with no problem. Suspension for failure to appear or failure to pay is looked a far differently than for points. A points suspension indicates a pattern of dangerous driving. That is the main concern.

The accident may or may not be an issue depending on the type and circumstances. Was it a rear end collision? If so that may be an issue to some companies it is an indication of following too closely.

I would get a copy of the accident report from the inclvestigating PD and have that ready to send or fax to whom ever you are applying too. Their Safety dept will likely want to see it.

As others have said, you should have no trouble finding a job, but it may not be the ideal one out of the gate, but a few months experience changes things with a lot of companies.

    Don't be discouraged.

If the ticket has already been adjudicated, the case is closed. The case would have to be reopened to file any motions.

To get rid of it, one would have to file for an expungement, where it is removed from ones record.

Imagine that, he ignored your question.

Absolutely amazing the lack of due diligence we see here. due diligence comes first folks, not afterwards! Lol if you don't do it first, you deserve everything that happens to you.

I did know all of this ahead of enrolling in school. I had my DMV printouts in hand when I enrolled. I was told by the recruiter at the school that it wouldn't be an issue so I trusted that.

Now that I've been in class for a bit, I know that my driving record is less than ideal, so I'm asking for what options I do have.
