If you do go with CRST get your CDL permit BEFORE you go if u can. It will save you a week of sitting on your ### doing nothing. www.roadwars.com use that site to study study and study and the good thing is you don't have to pay each time u take the test and once u pass 1 part u don't have to retake it.
Mike, that's when I plan to be there. Have to wrap up some loose ends here before I go. And CWill, I talked to them and they told me I would still have to be there for 3 weeks, permit or not. Already have studied and I know I will pass no problem.

Trust me get it before you go your recruiter gets a % of the money u rack up while there but just stay on the safe side and get it b4 hand that way u can start school right away when u get their. I was just there last week all my info is up to date lol
No, when you pass Iowa's written test an test out at kirkwood they take your permit from the state you came at the DMV . An issuse you a Iowa paper cdl. You have 30days to get back home to get your permanent Iowa license then 60 days to transfer it back to your home state, or face fines for carrying two licenses.
