A lil shy here...but in the manual it states remove keys when doing pretrip walk around. Sorry but I had to put my 2 cents in. I drove years ago and am going to Swift soon to team with hubby. All in fun!:biggrin_25522::biggrin_2559:

Not going until October after he has his 3 mos in with them...but will try to start one then. He is with Mentor now and is having a blast. Should get his truck in 2 wks. He is hoping for International, which is what the Mentor has. Then he can get a one time Mentorship to show me the Swift ropes and all the new stuff thats going since we last drove.
Sigh, I am trying to pack up the house alone lol.

How can I check my lights without the key in the ignition???!!! All my lights would be inoperable:biggrin_2559:

OK, seriously, on with the thread. I T-called in Memphis yesterday, and proceeded to have dinner with Oldnewbie, who was in Memphis waiting to test out into his own truck. Then this morning I picked up a trailer from the yard and took it to Murray, KY (pd miles-155) where I am now sweating and waiting to be unloaded. I'm preplanned on a load from Martin, TN to Mt Vernon, TX (pd miles- 531). Yeech- Texas- even hotter!!!!!!!!!:biggrin_2559:

The load to Mt Vernon went off without a hitch, and I followed that up with a load from Fort Smith, AR to Brownstown, MI (pd miles-1089). That delivers tomorrow morning, and after delivering, my 70 will be about burned up, so I asked my DM to bump my PTA out to Saturday morning. I need to put my truck in the shop, anyway. The little thingamajig that controls the air suspension on the drive tires keeps coming apart. I've had to pull over and crawl under the tractor to put it back together 6 times in the last couple days.

The things they don't tell you about in truck driving school:biggrin_25523:
