I went through many driving slumps as I would call them. Feels like you almost have to completely stop and relearn everything you were once taught. You may just be distracted.

Everyone has trouble now and then. As someone else said, anyone who puts themselves on a high horse when judging someone elses driving/backing is probably just as much of a rookie. Drivers are actually very helpful when your on your own trying to back. I can say that almost every truckstop and/or warehouse I've had trouble backing in, at least one if not two drivers would guide me without me even asking.

But yes, EVERYONE has difficulties here and there. Take your time. 30 mins to back into a spot beats a preventable accident no matter how you cut it.

P.S.: In the real world you really never have to parallel park unless your out of hours at a rest area and the only spot is between two trucks on the shoulder.

I had many of days like that at school. Last Friday, I was spot on during my test, passed and got my CDL-A! No worries, if you work hard it will come together when it counts the most, test day!
