The cracks inside are in my ceiling. Outside it is everybodys driveway, sidewalks (but tree roots contribute to that) and streets.
My house is not on cement.
Did anyone feel the earthquake ?

I'm on Cali alot and want to experience one in my life. I did catch a view of the aurora borealis in Wyoming 5 days ago.The_vett Thanks this.

I would like to see the aroura borealis. I have no desire to ever feel an earthquake again. I have felt plenty, and in CA it isn't so bad as long as we are prepared. I get uncomfortable thinking about them in WA. from what I have read about them there is one overdue that they think will change the landscape from I-5 and maybe even further out to the pacific ocean. They discovered that is what has been happening every 300 years or so. It is the kind of thing that if you are in a vehicle you may not notice, unless it is a real big one, or if you were playing basketball or w/e you won't feel it. but if it were to happen right now while writing on the keyboard, it would be noticeable.

Yikes There has been another sm-med 5.something, with after shocks, in the Grapevine and Bakersfield, place called Mettler, CA. Could be a foreshock. Try to not pass under bridges, or get on those huge clover freeway connections.
It certainly doesn't scare or bother me, no way, I run to TTR, with every little event in my life. NOT.
Just now struck me odd, I didn't call anyone, I came here. Please keep yourselves safe always and Thank You for all you do.Oxbow, Concorde and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
Barely felt it where I’m at. I counted 26 aftershocks after the 5.22. On my app.

San Andreas fault is awake.
-
Yep it is awake , don't know if its ever been asleep. It bet you felt it good in Hesperia.
We have been told our whole lives on CA. coast , any day now, but I have no desire to be taken out by San Andrea's or any quake. Up North, forget about it. It is going to wipe out miles like it has every 200 plus years for 10 thousand years. Also so much of the civilization there is on water, and their bridges are not safe right now , they are so old. They tell Semi's to cross in the middle lane. I think wow , if they feel we are in danger now , it is crazy that instead of fixing them they redirect traffic to put the most weight on the area they think can hold it.?
In California , I think if we are prepared we will live through it. Up North, there is no escape, if the quake doesn't kill us the tsunami will. A Helicopter and pilot standing by would make me feel safe.Diesel Dave and Concorde Thank this. -
I read many years ago that water levels in the reservoirs play a big role in earthquake activity..
Never felt an earthquake but it’s definitely on my bucket list!Sons Hero, Oxbow, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -
I just read that last week ! What a revelation. It even said that they were either putting in or taking out water in the Salton Sea, and that they were getting vibrations on their Earthquake gizmos. Knowing this population has to make a difference as well.
Earthquake research as is most everything jumping in leaps and bounds.Concorde Thanks this. -
Without fear , Quakes are a wild natural happening. If you could see the things outside moving especially things that are not pliable, like concrete, it is amazing. A sidewalk can move like a wave , and go back to its original shape.
