I thought those BOL's were for IC's for when they are doing something complex and its just easier if they wrote it since the customer may not carry any

I asked if I worked for free since the blank BOL isn't signed. that's what I asked, don't attack me with sarcasm

Jabber, you have left out some details.

    Are you a company driver?
Do you have to scan in the BOL's to get paid?
Have you talked to your DM about this?

If it a paperless system, like Costco, then everything should be fine.
I scan in the BOL that I fill out just to make sure (Signed or not. If not signed I'll write 'Delivered on 'Date and Time' on the BOL.), but I don't think I really need to. Maybe I'll test it some time.
Maybe, on a short run. I'd hate to not get paid for a 2k mile load...

So what did your dispatcher say?Ive done blind shipments before meaning you get a faxed bill from the broker and you give that bill to the receiver rather then the original bill.Sometimes they signed it and sometimes not but I always got paid.

    yes
    um, isn't that standard?
no, i'll call later and ask, since it wont show up until next paycheck anyway (if it does at all)

it was a 480 mile load, so maybe I shouldn't worry, maybe I'm just being greedy

I was on the phone with dispatch last night and he told me to kick and scream as loud as I can to get my bills back, the same bills that they were not wanting to give me

i am beginning to wonder if jabbawok1990 is for real. Not suggesting he/she/it is a troll but the threads started seem fictitious. Perhaps i am wrong for only the second time this year-

yeah no need to be politically correct sb. HA! i personally did not want to come right out and post as much but certainly appreciate your candor.

honestly,if jabbawok1990 put his tranny into drive after being qualcommed the load and bumped the dock/placed the tranny in park/was loaded and then delivered said freight, why would he/she/it not be paid? the mega he/she/it trained with would pay him w/o question. it is all there on the qualcomm w/the tracking.

    stabob and Lepton1 Thank this.

And yet I was wondering the same thing as Jabber the first time this happened to me.
I've never been a troll, and I doubt Jabber is.

Jabber, who do you work for? Just curious.
Because you are being left in the dark about certain things, and your DM does not seem to be of any help.

Former posts should be helpful, however.
If your DM can't be more helpful, then go to CSR or to the terminal manager.
