When they run the license information now, it will be coming back with the Medical card information as well. The doctor has to be a qualified and registered doctor by the middle of next year and if not, the medical card will not be valid.

Don't you have to get your physical done a month before it expires?

I did mine just before it was due. I then took it to the Secretary of State and received paperwork attesting to the fact it was submitted.

I had to send mine in almost 2 years ago.

So a valid physical certification before the middle of next year isn't grandfathered in? What if the doctor retires and doesn't register.

Physicals taken after the effective date are the ones that will be at issue. Those being done now will most likely be already approved or shortly will be.

i got the notice a couple month's ago, sent a copy back according to the instructions via snail mail. haven't received anything back yet, do they normally send any kind of verification or do you just wait till you get pulled over and they say you have a cdl or not to find out if they got it or not?

I would have called and checked long ago.

It is why I took my renewal into the office of the Secretary of State.

No way I would count on my company doing it.

I would still have called and checked with them a very long time ago.
