I'm for the facts. So that tells me he got 5 hours or less of rest on his first break. As I stated earlier I think it would be best if they both parted ways.

Because answering phone multiple times makes me sleep so much better!

This "interpretation" sucks!!! I know it the official version, but fragmented sleep due to multiple phone calls is just as bad, maybe worse, than no sleep at all!!!

We have all had it(dispatch calling while we were sleeping) happen to us, and I can tell without a doubt, no one likes being woke up to answer some asinine question from some office puke who doesn't know the difference between a 5th wheel and a steering wheel!

By abes own statement he didn't sleep on his second break because he wasn't tired. Phone calls had nothing to with it... but y'all go on making up facts, seems its the only thing some of you are good at.

Abe has posted many positive videos to help newbies people coming into this industry ect and he will continue to do so.I agree, ppl are judging him when the proof is all there. Some thinks he enhanced the video_One video by Bigcat over this, everyone hates him.I dare all these doubting ppl to go to abes fbpage and tell him what they've said on here.People there will throw them out instantly. He has so much support.
I am talking about whatever he posted on his Face book page --or the the outcome of the whole saga.
No matter what anyone thinks about the whole situation Abe seems to be a decent guy, and may have been an excellent employee with a 100% perfect employee record ... I dunno ..--but being "Hung" for what may have been one incident he posted on "Youtube" seems a little harsh.
Some where he mentioned how he liked "Truck driving" and those that wish him gone for this incident must remember what kind of driver could fill his seat if he leaves.
I would rather have Abe who can speak English and stops when driving tired than ..... "Well you know".
Key word is 'momentarily' which would be a judgement call, however some duration around a minute.

As such, you yourself Meltom do not have the time to review one such call, and therefore not momentary.
Therefore, these calls most likely need too be logged as all other communication with dispatch. Just further evidence that this driver could not get his rest and K&B was irresponsible in forcing the dispatch.

I am aware someone would bring this up. Read the full rules regarding.

I'm. hoping the owner and safety keeps their word and this will stop. But we shall see.I personally would have quit if they didn't fire me and sued them.

Hopefully if and when the new coercion law is passed it will allow the drivers to press charges against the company

should dispatch continue it's insanity .

I hope he continues to document EVERYTHING!!!

I have ALOT more respect for Abe now. I couldn't have stayed calm and collected if I had to deal with that fecal matter. I would have had a lawyer and a camera crew with me before I set foot in their yard too! They will do whatever it takes to get rid of him now.

Watch your back, Abe!!!
Don't trust ANYTHING they tell you!!!

Well looks like I'm going to haft to drive tonight. I guess if I get tired I'll call dispatch, make a video of it and post it up on U-Tube.
