With the beer virus going around, there's a delay from shipment from China. How is intermodal doing right now? Business as usually or do you see it slowing down

The 3 suppliers I pick up from in the LA area, usually have their loading dock area full with containers-1 to 2 dozen.

As of Thursday, 3-12, the areas were empty of all containers-empty ones hauled away and no full containers delivered.

Some intermodal 0/0's on the west coast have already gone bankrupt.

The west coast ports are bad.

We have the Pacer Stack Train with Union Pacific twice daily towards St Louis out of Little Rock. By the time they reach us it's 80 mph service with 4 engines all out and hundreds of containers. Something like 42000 horsepower in AC power.

The last Pacer Stack train coming north that I saw two weeks ago when renewing tags in town one little engine and about 20 well cars, half of which might have a single 20 foot in each some were emtpy and a couple were loaded. Tiny engine lumbered along at about 50 It was not worth adding more power etc. There is no containers to haul really.

Thats how much the container traffic fell off.
