If you are riding the bus to school, and every kid on your bus is a window licker, what does that mean about you?
If in your neighborhood, there's a murder every week, crack heads all over the place and bars on everyone's Windows, what does that mean about the value of your home?
If you are sitting at a shipper or receiver, and every driver around you is a Braindead, what does that mean about you?
See, just because every kid on your bus licks Windows, that doesn't mean that every kid at your school does...you're on the short bus. Why are YOU on the short bus?
Just because your neighborhood is violent and rundown doesn't mean that every neighborhood is that way. Just yours. Doesn't that affect the market value of your home?
If mega carrier Braindeads are cutting in on your bottom line to the point to where you are making a buck a mile, who is at fault?
Contrary to what the popular belief is, the vast majority of truckers in the States are not the megas. Yes, I said it. The megas are NOT the majority. They want you to think they are. This too is why the teamsters and the ATA are the ones pushing for more regulations. They're trying to level the playing field.
All the mega carrier stupidity that you see happens on the INTERSTATE. Not the two lane. The interstate megas and the mega truck stops. But that's NOT the majority. Open your eyes and look again. You're on the short bus complaining about the short bus kids.
No offense meant, btw.tinytim, BUMBACLADWAR, gokiddogo and 7 others Thank this. -
As far as having a brain to drive a truck, I ve never seen in the job requirements a high school or college education, common sense, common courtesy, or common decency. If that was the case, a lot of drivers would be disqualified
