If you already knew, or thought you knew, the answer why did you ask the question?

Well, since fuel is $1500, simply add a couple more cars onto the trailer.

    Question was with no HOS

Once you run past your mile radius for no HOS you will have to run like all the rest of us

    $1,500? lol
You’ll need a heck of a lot more money for your litigation costs.

You went from local no HOS to cross country 5+ vehicles.. you won’t get past the first open scale house :)

How many miles are you basing these numbers off of... Not everybody runs 100k+ miles a year...which would skew the numbers... I could care less about a mile rate. I quote everything based on how much work is involved and how much money i am willing to do the job for.... If that comes out to 100 dollars a mile or 100 pennies. It doesnt matter.... The rate per mile seems to be its more for fleets to average costs out across a fleet of trucks....how can you do that on the spot market when rates drop people go sit at home.... your cost per mile to operate goes way up with less miles.... Vice versa

Because rates are per mile, it is best to know your cost per mile and profit per mile, based on the likely miles you will need to make the money you want. If you want to make 180k in a year and you think your profit per mile is $1. Then you need to drive 180k miles in the year.
