Sapp in Commerce city, Colorado C5C237AA-9B54-413F-B021-E60697A87F06.jpeg Was there all weekend. I don’t ever leave my truck unattended at truckstop for more than supper with friends or a shower. If I did it would only be nosed in in a corner. I usually won’t even leave my truck unless there is already trucks parked in spots on either side if me. I try to only park where it is strait back parking too.

The record matching MC/MX Number = 32989 is INACTIVE in the SAFER database.
If you believe this to be in error, you can report it using FMCSA's DataQs system.

That was a classic from last winter. The note blew away before the weekend was over. Had a 7 car trailer on it. Guess the company didn’t recover from this?

A couple weeks ago I was parked at the Pilot(?) in Evanston, I'm in bed, my tractor shakes. I get up look out the curbside window, there's a trailer backing into the spot on my right, not even an inch of clearance. I lay on the air horn, the trailer starts backing, so I REALLY get on the horn. FFS.

I throw pants on real quick and run up to the tractor and start telling "WHAT THE F_@$" at the "driver. "

I'm small, ok? But i tend to forget that part. And i did.

I'm telling at this Prime #######, telling him he hit my truck, he's swearing that he didn't, that he was watching, ( he was blind siding it, mind you. )

Anyhow, he finally decides I'm not worth dealing with, pulls out, moves to another spot, by then I found where he hit me.

Our trucks are set up for over dimensional loads, flag holders, extended motor brackets. His trailer scraped the extended mirror bracket on my curb side, there was scraped white paint, plain as day.

He still denied it, swore he was watching in his mirror. How I have no clue, being his tractor was turned maybe 15 or 20 degrees to the right for the blind side back, for which, BTW, there was absolutely no reason to do it.

Someday, I'll end up with a broken nose, forgetting I'm, um, small of stature.

Sometimes RV morons forget that they are towing their car and decide to try to move back into the right lane way too soon. Happened more than once the past few years.

So you have never forgotten about your trailer, but have you ever had an accident where it was your fault? You see, everyone is different and will understandably have different challenges. For you, it’s not forgetting about your trailer.

Many drivers will eventually have an accident (or incident) just because they’ve driven for too long. It’s very, very difficult, if not impossible to drive 30 years and say you have never hit anything—even if you never reported it. Most honest drivers will admit they have lightly rubbed a curb while making a right turn, or while backing, bumped into a barrier, rock barrier, sand, or parking space curb.
