That check station as well as the one in Sloan on 1-15 north are listed on their website as Drivewyze locations. Once in awhile I will see a truck bypass it, don't know if he's just running it or they have Drivewyze, never seen anyone chased either.

Yes. They're listed. But have you seen any sensors like the other scales in other states have.

    I never saw any.

Me neither, but I'm so used to the PrePass sensor above the lane I'm not even sure how or where the Drivewyze sensor is even located. I think what I'll do is try the 30 day trial and see how it goes a couple of times through that area. I've seen a few trucks bypass a time or two, and it does fill up to the shoulder sometimes, which is a whole other story, but it just really irks me that they continue to pull everyone through when they only concentrate on whatever trucks they have in the bays, which there are 3, they don't even look at the trucks idling through when they have those 3, and sometimes there will be no trucks in the bays, the station is open and all the DOT guys are sitting in their pickup trucks on the far end of the lot. It's just my rant for the day I guess, lol.
Get your trucks, close it, when you need a truck, open it.

I'm surprised they're even open. They were always closed when I was otr.

    Only the northbound was open.

They renovated it, put up nice blinking lights and a sign before it, looks all official, I guess they need to pay for it now. It was open all 4 times I went through the last week and half.

OH opened an abandoned scale on I-71 and it rarely has anyone inside but they still bringbtrucks off the road to get the bypass lane and get back on the road. There's no ody to write abticket or inspect you but it's very important trucks go in anyway.

First company had both installed. I got conflicts all the time, and I was basically told by the company that the PrePass took precedence over Drivewyze. Not sure if the DOT agrees with that sentiment, but I've never had them give me any real problems with it.
Oh, dude. I know that one. If it's open (and that's a HUGE if, mind you), you're NOT getting bypassed. Even when it was closed, I had Drivewyze telling me to pull in

In over nine years out here, I have never seen it open.

The weigh station going into MN on I-94 is always open, and everyone goes in. No PrePass at that one.
My Drivewyze always says to bypass it.
I have been bypassing it, but most of my fellow Swift drivers go in. They have not chased me down yet.

My gut feeling on this is...
If Drivewyze says it is a Drivewyze station, I follow the advice of Drivewyze.
If it is not a Drivewyze station and I get a green with PPass, I bypass it no matter what the Drivewyze says.
