Don't need Hazmat. Not a Hazmat load.

Been doing the practice tests online. Seems to be extremely easy. Should have gotten it already awhile ago.

Better question would be why is your carrier sending you to get a tanker endorsed load you don't have a tanker endorsement.

Yes I am, they are supposed to know these obvious things. If not when they pull up a driver in the system is should show their endorsements.

i had that happen years ago.... as in about a week after they changed it to require tanker (I didn't have tanker) the shipper had the same product in tots and drums. I asked which they were going to load, they said tots, i said I con't take it because I didn't have tanker, I called dispatch and told them the same thing.. I made them call safety who told him I was right then he asked how I knew it change.....IT'S MY JOB to know what I can and can't pull.

Last time I hauled totes. I didn't even know about the endorsement till this forum. Not that it mattered. I got all my endorsements when I got my cdl.

Haz wasn't the PITA back then. Just pay the extra $5 per endorsement.
