Was kidding on the last comment. The icon thing didn't display.
Yeah, CAT C12 here too. 380/410 hp 1450/1550 split torque motor. Steady, but you realize pretty quick the 500 hp guys put it in its place.
Hope to get Mr Haney to turn it up to 430 & 1650 at some point. But pulling a 6/7 car trailer it gets in the mid 7's on fuel mileage most of the time.
Does anybody own or drive a Peterbilt 377/385 like this one?

386s are nice but I hardly ever see them with mufflers. And when they do have them, they look really really nice.
xTHANATOPSISx Thanks this. -
I drive a 2000 377 Peterbilt and love it. Going to do some radical changes to the headlight arrangement in a few weeks along with new paint, front bumper and wicked drop visor. Adding a few dozen lights, vertical grill bars and a little chrome as well. Train horn and dropped on the side straight exhaust for added personality.
No matter what people say these trucks are all Pete. The only difference from a 377 to a 379 is the hood and setback axle. T
The ultra cab/sleeper is exactly the same for the years built. Anyways I will post some more pic's when we get here done.

The older 377 with the set forward axle could be really sharp IMO Around here there was a couple with twin air cleaners and set back tanks. With the right paint scheme they looked every bit as sharp as a 379.From the looks of it when they became the 385 you couldn't get the forward axle anymore.

I am in the middle of customizing my 377 with a complete re-work of the headlights and turn signals. We removed the headlights/turn signal assembly so to completely cover over the headlight well with fiberglass. After this we will be mounting JJ pedestal brackets and single round's for the old school look. Add a 14.5" drop visor, 18" full wrap SS bumper with frenched tag, drop trim on the doors to match the visor and new wheel covers. I'm also adding oval shaped amber LED marker/turn signals inside the step wells and a nice LOUD Train horn for safety.......
Maybe next spring I'll take her down to the paint shop and refresh the cab/sleeper paint with some ghost flames and a nice frame sandblast/repaint......
I'll have to reduce the photo's to post them a little bit later.
