Sons Hero, Rideandrepair, DUNE-T and 1 other person Thank this. -
How hard is it to have a 50ft air hose with a glad hand on one side and chuck on the other. That's what I use and it's still slow. The portable compressors will melt after running 15 minutes and would need hours to get 100psi.
BlackThought, Old_n_gray, Rideandrepair and 5 others Thank this. -

They'll work but will be very time consuming.
You need a dual piston unit to make it worth the while.
A single piston will probably burn up trying to pump up a truck tire.
Look for dual piston pumps. Those aren't cheap though.
I wouldn't waste my time with what you all posted. Or I would have already bought one years ago.
You want something like this double cylinder.
VEVOR 10.6CFM Portable Tire Inflator Dual-Cylinder Air Compressor 12V 150PSI | VEVOR US
Napa has this

Amazon as a astroai brand dual cylinder for $70.

Why convenience? I like this idea. Mounted on back of cab. Could always carry an extra shorter hose to extend if needed.
