If you got the money I’m sure it could be done. But it won’t be simple

The rumblin' of the diesel, the shifting of the gears, I believe Cannonball TV series was a Canadian show, but only lasted 1 season, 1958-1959.

Any of the 2 stroke Detroits were very good at turning diesel fuel into noise.

There is a nice FL COE running around PHX and points west, pretty sharp outfit. Had talked to him and he says the COE is perfect for the IM ramp. I’ll snap a pic next time as he either drops i

we have a mid 80s FL COE running around PHX and points west that brings in IM from the Glendale ramp. Told me the having this truck makes squeezing around the ramp a no-brainer.
I’ll snap a pic next time he hits our yard.
Only downside is the sleeper, as we all know, getting your britches on laying down gets OLD, even for a young pup (at the time) like me!!!

told me that he is overnight 2-3X a week. all in all, he loves that COE, claims it’s an old Werner tractor, but who knows.

    pretty cool nonetheless.

I recall rolling with my father about ‘76 or so and recall sleeping head to foot for his break.

good times for sure riding with the ‘ol man sitting on the doghouse in the winter to get semi-WARM.

Was worth it and my dad would’ve gotten a kick out of that pic.

Rest easy dad until we meet again.

From what the wiki said, the nickname for the truck came from that show, which made the truck much more than a background feature, and instead a prominent visual part of the plot.

The benefit of a pressurized crankcase, continuous chassis lubrication! LOL
