Keep in mind unless something has changed in the past year or so volvos are a royal pita to find parts for. They may have gotten better but most of the guys I see in a Volvo are the Russians. Personally I hate the #### things with a passion. Think long and hard about that warranty. I'm surprised it doesn't have a factory warranty still. If it does might be an okay deal keep in mind as well it has all the expensive emissions garbage one it as well. That all adds to cost of fixing and I do not believe that is covered under a 3rd party warranty. Also something to think about. Good luck I've been in the used truck market before...its always 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other.
Perfect starter truck to BANK MONEY.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1996...0062?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item257fcb4d9e
If you have your heart set on a Volvo, I strongly suggest one with a Cummins engine and a fuller tranny. If you get a Volvo engine almost nobody will be able to work on it including the dealers. I am with 379exhd, I despise the things. The new one's with emission's are 20 time's worse even, there always broke down
Made millions over the years with these FLD's....Bulletproof and Profit Grabbers....I still have my 1998 Classic with the detroit 500...Well over a million and still making 4000-6000 grand a week....So it's a bit ''ugly''...
I had an '07 Columbia, S60 Detroit - traded for a new Volvo. Biggest mistake ever. Sure the freightliner broke down but EVERYONE can work on them and usually have the parts. Volvo was under warranty but it cost me more in downtime on the "covered repairs" than paying cash for the repairs on the Columbia. Food for thought. IF I ever buy another truck it'll be a Freightliner with a Detroit. Not pretty but cheap and can make money.
