It was 5 empty boxes, n with my spread axle it was quite challenging getting it in there at all over that ramp up/down in the door way. Got it done in just a couple minutes, would have took longer to drop n rehook. ...would have been perfect for like a 12' box truck.
This is what I was saying on one of your other threads awhile back, finding responsible drivers is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. There is no way at my age now that I would expand my one man operation. Too much risk and too many headaches for me, man.
Yeah I'm seriously just considering possibly just selling everything. It is all up for sale and I've had a couple of good prospects. I've actually had two interviews so far as a logistics analyst. The pay is equal to what I pay myself currently with lot better hours and lot less headaches. I may just go ahead and jump ship on this latch on to that run that until I retire in about 20 years.
How backed up did traffic get in the time you began to back in until the time you pulled out? From that picture it appears you had an easier time because I don't see too many cars parked on the street. Thankfully 148th Rd is two ways but man its a a PIA to go around from Rockaway all the way back to Guy Brewer to loop around.
Didn't really back up at all, fella in a straight truck was doing a 537 point k turn other side of my unit when I came around the corner, n was presumably almost done when I left.
"537 point turn.... and was almost done when I left." That's hilarious, I'm still laughing at that!!!!!
Wait, so, owning your own small company, you put your wife to work as a mole inside a need, where she refers the best she can find to you? I like, but it's just dirty enough that it's hard to feel sorry for your plight. I really do like it though.
