And I've posted where that is a true statement.
The company has to keep a timecard, the driver doesn't need to log anything.
Go read what I posted already if you don't believe me. It specifically says 395.8 is exempt. 395.8 is the logging regs.

Someone has to do it and he said he is the company so who’s going to do it? He is clearly under the impression he doesn’t have to log ANYTHING which is not the case but Im not in the business of throwing pearls before swine so I don’t care

Nothing needs to be logged by the driver. You started saying the driver needs to log before you even knew he was an o/o, so let's not be revisionist here.
It's ok to admit to being wrong. It's not ok to keep telling someone the laws when you have no clue what the law is.

As for him, for all we know his wife makes the timecard for the company. He just said he was the boss. He didn't say he way the only employee. And anyway DOT would have nothing to say as it would be an audit item from FMCSA.

For me to argue with two fools is to prove there are three. The driver is the only one who can accurately record the required records. The company is required to keep said records. In this case he is both. It’s clear he doesn’t have the first clue what he’s doing and you ZVar, are just a chronic troll. Nether of you are worth my time.

I’ve had drivers and I’ve been through and passed audit.....and it was the DOT that showed up at my door.... so don’t either one of you pretenders need to tell me what’s what.

Well, someone is a fool anyway. The one that is unable to read would be my guess....

How sad to live as someone that is so afraid of being wrong they have to act less mature than my 12 year old.
