Adrenaline is a powerful thing. Best to train and empty magazine towards knee cabs to disable the adrenaline zombies. Take the knee out of the attack and adrenaline wont help the perp.

it was under a palm tree, with a hammock, and Pina colada's served by a gal in a grass skirt and coconut bra...

There is no replacement for experience. That’s true, some of us might be able to handle it some of us maybe not even with experience.

now experience and training are two different things and I can only speak for myself. Growing up in messed up neighborhoods in Los Angeles has shown me lots of things and experienced a lot too by the time I was 13.

nothing phases me anymore not even the sight of a gun at my head.

The guy was still there when police arrived? #### elog!
Easy investigation. Probably 50 trucks caught it on camera.

Should get hired. He didn't do 15 over, so the insurance company is good with him.

Since this happened in Joplin,we would have to look up Missouri’s statutes on the issue.

What 'Stand Your Ground' Laws Mean in Missouri - Super Lawyers Missouri

The question is who is the aggressor?

    A pushed B.

    B punched A.

    A stabbed B.

Is the push the aggressive act or is it the punch? Was the push a defensive act? Does is matter who started yelling first? Does it matter if one of them was parked illegally? (Illegal parking might mean 'not entitled to be there').

it would be interesting to follow this case.

If they stood like ####### and yelled at each other or etc it will be considered mutual combat but the guy with the knife will be in more serious trouble

Missouri also has some weird ### knife laws so there's another consideration.

I can get pretty rowdy out of no where, but over a parking spot? Come on man.

Knife vs gun inside 25feet? Toss a coin.
Sure it's gonna be roughly, but so is getting thumped with a steel framed handgun a second before getting clapped.

Edit to add. Two people who choose to fight will both be prosecuted in a lot of cases and be charged with assault, with other factors being taken into account.

Down the holler several years back we had two guys shooting at each other after an incident. They both ended up being charged with the same crime.

Taking the kneecaps out won't stop an attacker who has a pistol in his hand, he can still shoot you while he's laying on the ground.

    Always aim for center mass.

The guy came into the truck stop after sticking the guy, looking to cut a trophy off,,,I think he had made his point but obviously he was pretty wound up.
