That is rare. But if you are a good driver and the company knows that it is beleiveable.

It seems to me that once I got used to a truck and if it was in good condition, I'd get attached to it even if there were newer or better trucks available. I don't know why unless it's just that since it wasn't breaking down on me I'd be loathe to push my luck with something else. I've seen where brand new trucks spent a lot of shop time.
I also like to properly wire in my radio and stuff: too much hassle to change trucks, and you might also have a big cleanup to do on the next one. I'd say usually.
I've often wondered how other drivers feel about trucks they've driven for a while.

I am the same way with a vehicle I have gotten use to. Even if I can switch to a new and better one I usually prefer to stay with the one I am already familiar with.

As of a couple weeks ago I was driving a 97
Mack with a itty bitty 36" sleeper on it. This Mack could keep up with
the best of trucks but when I first started drivning it it gave me so many
problems. Eventually I learned all the little tricks to keeping that truck
running. I came to love this truck and drove it for a long time.

We had been having a 99 International that was sitting in the yard we
just had never leased the truck on yet. We decided to lease it on and
use the Mack as a backup truck. First run the truck did okay, second run
the rear end went out up in Little Rock, AR. After that I decided I
wanted my ole Mack back that I knew all the problems I was facing and
all the ones that I knew I had allready worked out of it.

Anyway we just bought a 04 International 9400i Eagle with a C-15 Cat
and a big 72"sleeper. At first I was allmost reluctant to give up the old
    Mack again but I did.

A bigger sleeper does make a difference.

Unfortunatley, the only known treatment is purley for comfort.
It is a quite effective treatment in the short term, but it rapidly comes to requiring a larger and larger dose.

I think you need bigger injectors, turbo and straight pipes...

That should be a good start, then that cat will be off your back and dragging you down the road, flailing from its leash.:yes2557:

    Coonass Thanks this.

Bigger turbos and injectors always makes me feel better.
